Mayor Nagin what can you say to the 2,000 children still missing and separated from their families. Mayor Nagin weren't those same 500 buses available to you in the days prior to Hurricane Katrina.

Mayor Nagin the city of Galveston organized a citizens committee that went door to door to find out who would need help in evacuating from Rita. Buses were sent into the neighborhoods to bring the sick and poor to staging areas where they could be brought to safety.
